Contracted Toilet Upgrade & Renovation at Jalan Batu Hawker Centre

Our team was appointed to upgrade six toilet units at Jalan Batu Hawker Centre, managing all coordination and on-site works under a single building contract. The scope covered reinstatement, retiling, plumbing improvements and new sanitary fixtures, delivered with minimal disruption to daily operations. The refreshed facilities now offer improved durability, hygiene and user comfort for the community.

Removal of Existing Finishes & Waterproofing of Wet Area Substrates

Once the original finishes were removed, underlying issues such as water pipe leakage could be identified and rectified before new works commenced. Our team then applied a reinforced waterproofing membrane and carried out targeted sealing treatments to prevent future seepage. This systematic approach, also reflected in our waterproofing and leakage rectification projects, ensures long-term durability and reliability in high-traffic public sanitation spaces.

Floor Finishes, Plumbing Installations & Interior Reinstatement

New floor finishes were installed throughout the toilet units, accompanied by updated plumbing lines, sanitary fittings and essential accessories to fully reinstate the internal facilities. These upgrades formed part of a broader restoration effort, similar to our repair and redecoration works, ensuring the space was not only refreshed but also functionally improved for long-term public use.

Cubicle Installation, Final Fit-Out & System Commissioning

Toilet cubicle systems were erected and aligned, followed by the installation of accessories and final fit-out components. Our team then carried out full testing and commissioning to verify functional performance before handover. These works, similar in workflow to our A&A works in Singapore, reflect our role as a coordinated general contractor ensuring every system is safe, compliant and ready for operational use.
