Our team was engaged to undertake commercial floor tile replacement works at Orchard Shopping Centre, ensuring a safe and visually consistent walkway for tenants and shoppers. The project involved careful removal of damaged tiles, substrate preparation and installation of new finishes, all executed with tight coordination to minimise disruption within the active retail environment.

Site Barricading & Safety Management During High-Traffic Operations

To maintain safe circulation within the busy retail environment, temporary barricades and clear diversion routes were set up before floor removal works began. Our approach mirrors the safety protocols applied in our projects as an A&A contractor in Singapore, ensuring that high-traffic operations proceed smoothly while protecting shoppers, tenants and on-site personnel.

Demolition & Removal of Existing Tile Finishes

Damaged and aged floor tiles were carefully dismantled and removed to expose the underlying substrate for assessment. This controlled demolition process follows the same discipline applied in our repair and redecoration works, ensuring surfaces are properly prepared before reinstatement and new finishes are installed.

New Floor Tile Installation & Surface Reinstatement

After preparing the substrate, new floor tiles were laid with precise alignment to achieve a safe, even and visually consistent walking surface. Final jointing and surface reinstatement works completed the area, allowing the walkway to be restored for uninterrupted retail use.
